Dr Ping Jaa

After graduating from Medicine at the University of Queensland in 1983, Dr Ping Jaa studied and obtained her postgraduate Diploma of Obstetric and Gynaecology from the University of Queensland in the year 1986. Dr Ping Jaa became the Fellow of the College of General Practitioners in 1989 and a Fellow of the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine in 1990. She is members of both the Australian Society of Hypnosis and the Australian Medical Acupuncture Society.
She has a special interest in women’s medicine particularly in the area of natural hormonal therapy, antenatal and postnatal care.She also practices hypnosis and acupuncture.
Her practice principal is to aim medical care at the whole person addressing the cause, optimising the function of mind and body to maintain good health and prevent illness.
Dr Ping was born in Brisbane and raised on the Gold Coast from the age of two. She is a mother of 4 children. She enjoys the balance of work and family, farm lifestyle with horses and lots of animals. After five years postgraduate registered work at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, she joined her father’s practice at Burleigh Heads in 1988. The practice has since been renamed as Dr Jaa’s Medical Health and moved to the current address at Robina Town Centre.
